The local passion for Santa Rosa and the transport of the Macchina has led to the creation of smaller macchine carried by boys between 6 and 14 through the city streets, especially in the Pilastro and Santa Barbara neighborhoods.
These structures in wood are carried on the boys’ shoulders and vary in height between 4,5 and 7.5 metres.
