A decorative semi-capital from Ferento, made out of a marble monolith and found during the 20th century restoration of the Diocesan archives. On the left side is part of a Roman inscription, which reads:

“Impe(ratori) Ca(esari)/ (Fl)avio Co(stan)/tino Pio(felici)/(in)victo M(aximo Augusto)/ Ferent(ienses)/devo(t)i nu(mini m)aei(stati)/(qu)e eius”.

“To the Emperor Cesar Flavius Costantinous pious happy and victorious Maximo Augustus, the inhabitants of Ferento devoted to its power and majesty”.
