The main theme of the story is the living together of dogs and cats while respecting vital living space.

The animals become examples of  how to behave in a heterogeneous community where the differences are integrated with respect for the diversity of each individual and of the rules of the community which, inevitably, come from civilized living together.

Do not think this is just fantasy because the characters really exist and lived together in the author’s house.

Also the setting is real and “Campo delle perle” or fertile field, is the old name of the plains where the author’s farm estate is located.

The book received the “Lead soldier prize“ during an art show “Hermes on Street’s Spring Festival 2011” in Taranto as the first work prize.
