The desire to know Samuele and his love for reading and dance is the basic idea that stimulated the creation and production of the text: a collection of essays done during the last three years in the elementary school Marco di Sarra-Rocca San Zenone Instituto Comprensivo G. Oberdan (TR). The reader is invited to read the book to know about thoughts, the soul and sensibilities of a child who thinks, reflects and gets emotional about the things he sees and hears, working every day to realize his dream.
The autobiographical text, done during the fifth grade, writes Samuel: “When the teachers saw me dance for the first time, in grade school, they counseled my parents to let me attend a school of dance, and so I did, I wanted and still want, to become a professional ballerina. From that day, with all my will and hard work I reached my present state: I did a musical about San Valentino, I won a national prize “Città in Danza” and will have a trial for the Rome Opera. But I still dream with open eyes, I want to become a professional as good as Roberto Bolle, and will b admitted to the Opera”.
Today, Samuele attends the Opera di Roma school with great success, satisfaction and enthusiasm, not forgetting his studies and his favorite hobby, reading. “When I am bored, sad or happy, when I want to waste time or wish to break away from reality or just know some new stories, I think of my favorite friend: books.
Reading is a way to travel with fantasy, to live emotions I do not know but that become mine little by little as I turn the pages”.
This is the story of Samuele that you can know better between the lines of his story, in the knowledge that the value of the words is not in what they enclose, but in what they free”, Jorge Angel Livraga (1930-1991)
