Bryn Jenkins  had a long carrier as history teacher  which certainly influenced  him to present this book not as  a group of essays but as a collection of historical essays previously published on the English press in Rome: Wanted in Rome and The Roman Forum. Enriched with numerous illustrations and a rich bibliography.
