MODERN MACCHINE

We have very little information about the Macchina di Santa Rosa during the 1900s, but in 1967 the bell tower style changed to include huge statues.

This revolution began with the “Volo d’Angeli” macchina that is well remembered by people of the city. The cadence for new models became fixed at 5 years intervals.
